Our family took two unforgettable trips out East, exploring Martha's Vineyard, Cape Cod, Nantucket, and Bar Harbor! 🌊🏞️
From whale watching with breathtaking ocean views to scenic hikes through the Acadia National Park, stunning landscapes, every moment was an adventure. But best of all, we had the chance to slow down, soak it all in, and create incredible family memories that we’ll cherish forever. ❤️✨
Our family first visited Martha’s Vineyard in August 2020 and loved it so much that we had to come back! We finished our East Coast adventure in June 2021, exploring Cape Cod, Nantucket, and Bar Harbor—and every stop was nothing short of incredible.
We stayed in some truly unforgettable places, each with its own charm and character:🏡 Davey Jones Locker Cottage at The Cottages Nantucket, a cozy and classic island retreat where our room was right on the docks of the marina.🌊 The Nonantum Resort in Kennebunkport (Cape Cod)—a breathtaking waterfront gem full of New England charm.🏨 The historic https://barharborinn.com, where we soaked in stunning ocean views and a sense of timeless elegance.
We splurged on these stays not just for the comfort, but for the history, the scenery, and the top-tier hospitality—and they did not disappoint!
One of the highlights was our whale watching tour, where we caught glimpses of a few majestic whales (if only our cameras were fast enough!). But beyond the whales, the seals lounging on the rocks and a bald eagle perched high above his paradise made the experience even more magical. It was a reminder of just how much natural beauty surrounds these coastal gems.
Pro tip: Bring comfortable walking shoes! There are endless shops, restaurants, and bars to explore, and trust us—you won’t want to miss a thing. And of course, no trip would be complete without indulging in another hot, buttery lobster roll—we’re already planning our next visit just for that! 🦞😋
